Today we continue our tour through the neighborhoods of Florence dwelling together with you in the famous Piazza della Signoria. Here's what you should not miss!

1. Visit the Palazzo Vecchio. The imposing building overlooking the square is more than seven centuries the symbol of the civil power of the city of Florence. The headquarter of the municipality of the city, is the best summary of the civil fourteenth-century town and one of the most well-known civic buildings in the world. A little pills in history? Well, you can easily find them here. We suggest you you also to visit the Museum of Palazzo Vecchio.

2. Do not miss the Uffizi Gallery, one of the most important Italian museums, and one of the largest and best known in the world. Containing the most important works of Italian art and not just (among which you can admire the famous Botticelli's Primavera), is open since 1765! For more information, look here. 3. Gucci Museum. Dedicated to the fashion lovers, the place to learn about the history of the most famous Italian brand. It is located in Piazza della Signoria at number 10. It's going to be a short but intense visit, the museum is not very big but for those who love the brand, is a must-to-try ... because then you can enjoy a coffee in the super fashion bar, putting inside with sugar of Gucci!

4. The Loggia dei Lanzi. The Loggia of Signoria is a historical monument of Florence, located on the right side of the Palazzo Vecchio and the Uffizi, which will engage the rear with a terrace right on top of the lodge. This building is very old and very valuable, dating back to the period between 1376 and 1382 and was used to host the popular covered numerous public meetings and official ceremonies of the Florentine Republic.

5. Sculptures. A decorative set at the highest level, the sculptures of Piazza della Signoria a secular allegorical cycle is unique in the world, built to inspire the rulers of the city on their way to the Palazzo Vecchio. Among the works, Michelangelo's David stands out: the masterpiece of all centuries. Although it is a copy (the original is in the Gallery of Fine Arts in Via Ricasoli), its predominant position reminds us that once the original was right there. Take a better look at this sculpture.
